Canal walk to Bingley

Still waiting for the cloud to lift again today but that didn’t stop us walking this morning.

Left the car by the parish chinch in Bingley and took the bus to Bar Lane to walk back along the canal.

Lots of colour from the flowers in the gardens that edge the canal and lovely Hawthorne blossom in white, pink and red and Cow Parsely along the canal verges.

We saw two lots of swans with their cygnets and two lots of ducklings, but this was my first sighting of goslings. I love the way they always swim in line.

Stopped at the Five Rise cafe for a coffee and shared a ginger nut tiffin before walking back to the car.

Just starting to brighten up now, much brighter in Scotland yesterday You can see Jude on Achmelvic beach and Eda was being very creative making a creature out of a it bones she found on her walk! Extra
