Lake Deer

We got up early and went off to the Olympic National Park. The intention was to go up to Lake Deer. There is a longer loop that SparseRunner did in 2019 but we didn't have time for it. We got up to Lake Deer in good time so decided to go further up. We passed a small frozen lake, then got to a point where the landscape opens up and there is another frozen lake. There was too much snow to go any further (extra) but it was a satisfying landmark to reach.
The four -hour drive back to Seattle was rather tedious and we couldn't really stop much because we had to give the rental car back by 7pm.
