LUNCH by the LAKE ....
..... with water skiing as well!
Well this ended absolutley fine, weather great sitting outside by the lake in the sunshine eating a lovely delicious meal.
What was going to be a couple of hours out ended up being 6 hours, why? I missed the sign for the venue got caught up in road works , thought I knew a quick way, oh no not where I went! Boy it was a long way . So we gave up said we'd call somewhere on our way home, then suddenly hey presto I saw the sign being near a roundabout it was easy to turn round. So pleased we did as what started out as a dull day turned out to be brilliant sunshine.. just one problem there were so many steps.
It has been established that the property known as the Wiremill dates back to about 1561, working as a hammer mill known as the woodcock forge. ( The long history can be found by asking Mr Google?)
Do hope you've all had a good day , as the vicar's wife & I did.
Thank you N for such an enjoyable trip.
