Day 19 - Traffic in Paris

Visited the Arc de Triomphe this afternoon. It provided a great view of the city but the most entertaining feature was watching the cars, motor bikes and bicycles navigate the traffic below. It is amazing to see push bike riders push through the monster intersection without even a helmet! We even noticed a rickshaw style tricycle face the challenge, I was glad I wasn't the passenger.
This morning we walked the streets with a guide collecting bread, cheese and pate which we then consummed with a glass of wine. Mmm! Someone will be on a heavy exercise program when they return home.
We also visited Notre Dame cathedral; thought it was very impressive with the huge leadlight windows; quite different from church buildings in Spain and Italy.
Tonight we a off to sample crepes at a restaurant that our tour guide recommended!
