Red Hot Poker

Another cool but warm-for-the-time-of-year day.  Got a good number of wee jobs done and even engaged some creativity to 'build' a feeding station for my garden birds....not that there has been an abundance of them around so far.  A quick tour of the garden revealed a clump of these.  They've been in the garden since I bought the house many, many years ago but I always forget about them until I see them peeking through the bushes.  They remind me of my childhood.
