Cabin

A lovely basic back to nature cabin on a lake in the Dordogne. Fab for eating outside and barbecuing with local French cheeses and wine listening to the birdsong - just chilling. 

The bed situation was slightly dire and I ended up in the bottom of a bunk bed trying to negotiate the imovable ladder whilst hubs had a very small double bed which he deserved after all the driving.

You may or not have been wondering why I haven't been blipping over the time away and there were many reasons; mainly as you can see the cabin had no power and I was beset with computer problems which used up the battery however it was lovely not to be on the computer for a change!!

The journey down here to Labey in the Dordogne, France was beautiful and I was lucky enough to be able to get to the wetland areas round the coast before we continued our journey. There was some great wildlife which included marsh harriers and black kites - photos which I haven't yet seen properly!
