Cooling down

Back to Santon Bridge today for our newest regular Wellness Walk. 

It was much cooler leaving our part of Cumbria in hazy cloud, but the skies cleared around Keswick and it was scorchio in the western Lakes. Four walkers wandered up Irton Pike and out onto the fell to enjoy the outstanding views along Wastewater.

Missy of course hooned around*, but she's very good at having a drink when told. Still when we hot back to the van, which had been parked in the shade with the windows a little open, it was really hot.... So a nice cooling swim for Missy in the Esk before the drive home.

*two ticks removed this evening. Watch out folks - the little horrors seen very abundant this year.
