Spectators

A great day out in Birmingham yesterday with the family followed by a bowls match in the evening.

Another convincing win. At the start of the match we had a large number of spectators. Not a murmur from them as they studied the game. But the cold wind drove them away as the clouds rolled in and the temperature dropped. It’s supposed to be summer and a number of us took to wearing thick sweaters, jackets and/or woolly hats. As the match came to its conclusion all I could think of was getting back in to the club house and into the warm.

Went to the match with AirCon on in the car but came back at 21:30 with the heating on.
