In the Weed Pot

On the kitchen window ledge there resides a small "weed pot", simply a very small vase into which you would normally place a dried twig or weed. They are often made from turned timber and hence without a glass liner cannot be used for a cut flower which might need water in order to stay fresh for a few days.
Mrs. Joesblips has a completely glass one in the window however, so fresh is the norm. I don't know what these are but I couldn't resist blipping them this morning, by the light of the rising sun.
