Golden roses

Our golden roses are at their best and perfect for Flower Friday. I think the variety is Golden Showers.
A beautiful day. The sun has returned, but there is still a sneaky cool breeze.

Mr C had his eye scan at Dewsbury Hospital this morning, prior to his injection next week.
Straight in and out. Very efficient as usual.
This afternoon I had my hair cut. No treatment needed!
Then sat out reading and finished with a glass of wine before cooking rump steak for tea.

Just got a text from Jennie to say she and her friends have arrived in Bristol for their overnight stop before continuing to Cornwall tomorrow. It’s the first time she has driven so far. Seems to take it all in her stride!
The weather looks good for them. Wall to wall sunshine for a week!
