A mother's role.....

Good swim this morning in a quiet pool then home to do some Apex stuff before loading the car.

Headed off to #2's via Cameron Toll and then Home Bargains. It was a glorious day, much better than yesterday. Spent :hours getting rid of weeds though not all there couch grass and reducing the jungle at the back to almost a lawn. I felt quite pleased with myself but a Christie and a buddleia still need tamed. That will require a ladder.

Home via the Manor to check on mum who seems ok and then out with the lounger as and a seat in the sun.

E came round in the  evening and we had a very convivial catch up, outside till 8.30 and then inside till quite late, but still with light in the sky.
