It's Sunday, so it's baking day

Focaccia today.  W's brother sent a photo of some he had baked, which W took as a challenge - anything he can do, I must be able to do.

The hip was somewhat better today, and in fact was fine when climbing and standing on ladders.  So whilst I put the second coat on the ceiling in the workshop, W made focaccia, and also the batter for more pikelets.  Whilst these were rising, he put wood paint on the swing seat.  

We did quality control on the focaccia for lunch - definitely tasty, happy for there to be more experiments.  Then after making the pikelets, we put together the swing seat and fastened it into the structure.  It comes with a structure that could be the basis for a climbing plant, but until that is sourced and planted, I need to create a canopy.

The write up makes it sound as though we've been really busy, but actually it's been a leisurely day.  

House painters arrive tomorrow.
