Midland Hawthorn.

What do you think about this blossom?  My friends hadn't seen a hawthorn like this before and each of us commented that it is beautiful.  This was only one of the many flowers (some with shape an colours I hadn't seen before.)  This was the largest open garden we have visited.  From ponds and woods it was worth wandering around to see what we could photo and, of course, there was tea and cake.  It was hot for Cumbria, 23degrees, a near record.

My birthday was great, camera friends, cake and hot.  Now I just finished looking at the photos I've taken and the results are worthwhile.
