First Scottish strawberries

Bought this evening after we'd been to see Scottish Opera doing their one-hour Pirates of Penzance 'unwrapped'.

Younger lad had the pleasure (?) of seeing what a bustle is and then the ruffled petticoats on top.

Strawberries sweet but a little floury in texture - 'variety Islay'.
