We had lovely morning on 'our' beach watching the birds playing as the tide went out.
This afternoon we drove down to the lighthouse at Scalpay, the Eileen Glas, to do some log exposures. However, when l arrived I found out there was a walk of over 2kms to get there and obvs 2 kms + to get back.  There was no way I'd get there carrying a tripod, camera bag etc so I strolled part way to the lighthouse and left Jane and Terri to go the whole way! My take on what I could see is in extras!
An exhausting day - esp for the driver as the roads are winding and long, with few passing places  - but we are loving it
