Finding mum

I’ve been watching this new born lamb with it’s mum for the last few days. It amazes me how quickly they are on their feet and running about. Here he is catching up with Mum who had wandered off munching away on the grass.
A busy day birdwise and sooo noisy too. The starlings make such a racket. There are at least three families visiting with at least two babies each. The rooms have fledged too , demanding food from the smaller looking parents .Two baby blackbirds from the front of the garden have made an appearance as well. Their tail feathers are yet to grow properly. Robins, dunnocks, sparrows, bluetits and coal tits , greenfinches and goldfinches all feeding young, it’s no wonder I keep running out of bird food but it’s worth it :)
Watched the BGT final. Some good acts and some terrible ones. Disappointed in the winner but it was a public vote so some people must have liked it .
