Hole park gardens
We try and find somewhere new to take my Mum so today it was Hole Park Gardens. The weather held and we had a nice wander through the gardens only seeing three other people.
This border was impressive, filled with lots of flowers. Saw a painted lady butterfly and a few beetles on the plants.Very peaceful once they had turned the music off as they were testing for a big Midsummer festival over the weekend.
We had lunch in The Woodcock in Iden Green near Cranbrook. Really good food , I had sea bass, and lovely light building.
A difficult journey home through narrow country lanes with cars too close behind . A huge wood lorry came down Hollingbourne hill stopping traffic in both ways until it could squeeze through. The roads are full of pot holes and we miss the passing spaces we have in Scotland.
