Today saw my third visit to Lake Garibaldi. I'd been up previously on my own in '95, and with И in 2017. On both these occasions (at this time of year) the lake was frozen. However, today it, and the smaller lakes below it, were running water.

We'd begun the day by renting a car, but the absence of breakfast and eating banana bread before on an empty stomach wasn't great, so she was slow walking. Otherwise, it was still a fine walk in good country
