Tongland Hydro Power Station

Today's the day ......................... to reflect again

Thought you might like to see the same view from the Telford Bridge of the River Dee and the Tongland Hydro Power Station that I took yesterday - but today when the tide was in?

So, here it is looking like a completely different river - with lots of water this time.  The difference between low and high tide water levels can be as much as 8 metres - which is a fair amount.

But as that has been going on for many a century, it's all part of the natural way of things in this part of the country .................
