Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

I've been playing around with acrylic paint and colouring pencils. Just practicing doodling, which I'm not good at but getting there in baby steps. Some of these I really like, some less... :D
I forgot to tell you about yesterday when I showed my co-worker how I bind notebooks and what she needs tool wise. She didn't really listen... I think she thinks it's easier than it is, no practice needed. Some people are like this, and I admire that... just throws themselves into things with confidence. I'm not like that at all. :D But, what was fun is that one of the bosses started contemplating us making books for gardening 'stuff', like planners, and selling in the greenhouse shop. She said it was something for the winter months and as I lit up she said I'm having that course in teaching the rest of them how to make books. I'm not sure what kind of book she's thinking of, I need to ask her more about that, because a real book will be expensive to sell, but a fancier notebook will be totally fine. I have ideas already, but there's still many months of weeding (my body is complaining today...) before this will happen.

Since yesterday I've also thought more about my achy feet... I need to go to the shoe store in town that is a clinic for walking and running. They help out with shoes and things to put in the shoes for most comfort and to ease pain. I can at least go there and get their opinion.

Today is also the Swedish National Day, when we got our first king. This happened 500 years ago, so there's been extra festivities all over Sweden today. I just made a rhubarb crumble as celebration and enjoyed a day off. :)
