St Sampson’s Church
After dropping our oldest grandson off at the childminders we returned to our daughters house for coffee. She was settling into the feeding cycles of her youngest and we decided to visit the nearby town of Cricklade.
As we arrived the sun was starting to come out and it ended up as a very warm day. We were surprised at the interesting history of the town. It’s situated on the river Thames and is one of a few preserved Saxon towns. The photo shows St Sampson’s Church a 13th Century Church.
We had lunch in town and wandered through the street and took a short walk into the nearby Nature Reserve and then along the Thames trail.
When we returned to our daughters she decided to give baby Leo a little time on his tummy. He tried this yesterday and wasn’t impressed. Today however he rolled over onto his back. He repeated it again but wasn’t up to do it a third time. It certainly impressed us. He is pretty strong with his head and neck movements.
