Sydney Harbour
There has been great discussion about which one of the dozen or so photos I got on this morning's run should be my blip. Miss 7 was keen on the first one I took; unfortunately, it was rather soft in focus. Tsuken wanted me to choose the last one I took.; of the Opera House with the low morning sun hitting the roof. I liked the crispness of the image, as well as the soft colours. However, the photo immediately before that one included a whole batch of other runners, which added an ambience I liked. Again the focus was a bit soft; for a building like the Opera House sharp edges are best.
So I opted out of any photo of the Opera House (which I had blipped a few days ago anyway). And accepted the advice of cloud loving S, whose favourite for today is this one.
Conference is now over. A symposium on sleep disorders in patients with severe mental illness, followed by the last two plenaries. The first on how to maintain skills; the second one was looking at what are the skills we should value. A very worthwhile meeting.
At the end of the final session, tsuken, S and I found our way to the railway station and caught a train into the Blue Mountains for a three day stay before we return to Auckland. Time to relax, read, and catch up with journals on blipfoto.
