Dawdling

We led a walk today from Dartmouth along the coast path. We were early for the ferry so had a coffee first in the cosy Kingswear Coffee Company. A couple in their 90s were in there and were preparing to go on a walk. The young man said he wasn’t allowed to walk though, only dawdle, which we all agreed was  much more fun. Why hurry.
We were amazed by the wild flower meadow which I think was part of Little Dartmouth Farm. Took our breath away, especially with the sea in the background, and we all dawdled for ages.
