After the Rain

Despite today being a public holiday, I was up early and at the gym before the day got too hot. 
Later, I went to my mother’s house for lunch and coffee. 
I had barely gotten home again, when it started to rumble from dark clouds. It even rained for half an hour - not enough for the thirsty garden, but the air was lovely and clean after the shower.

All of a sudden, the garden was full of snails. And the cats came out to investigate every plant (see extra) - I guess they all smelled different after the rain.
