Rhuddlan Castle
THURSDAY
Yet another warm and sunny day.
I nipped over to B&Q at lunchtime to buy a few bags of gravel which I will use to fill in the compartments in the plastic base for my shed. On the way home I stopped off in Rhuddlan to make an appointment for a haircut next week. The castle, which is at the side of the River Clwyd, was looking splendid as usual although, after a few weeks without any rain, the grass is beginning to look parched.
Late afternoon I managed to cut and position the shed base which is made from recycled plastic. It's pretty level but I didn't have enough gravel to infill all the compartments.
Back for more gravel tomorrow.
