TONKA
Driving along this morning we spotted 2 American Bison in a small field with a tiny island surrounded by a moat. I asked a young girl walking a dog what their names were and she said one was named Tonka she did not know the name of the female. They seemed like calm creatures but I've been around some that were not so I was sure to keep a safe distance.
We took my mother some crabs to pick for her crab cakes this afternoon. It was pouring rain, hail and there was a waterspout. We took lunch and had a nice visit. I planted a lily she had after the rain stopped. I think she really enjoyed the lunch and the visit.
"Treat your mother with respect and your children will do the same for you."
