READY FOR THE STORM

I received a satpic from the Weatherman showing a storm with heavy rain approaching Cape Town and the Western Province on the weekend. This inspired me to stock up on fire wood. My gardener had prepared a pile of wood near the olive trees so I moved it to the studio stoep in readiness for making a fire in the old cast iron soap pot.
I also picked salad greens, lemons, guavas, roses and spinach. Decided that I should get a supply of books from the library where I overheard Jan Olyf's wife say that we were probably going to have our first snow of the season.
I am planning to be cosy indoors.
