First stop Cedarburg
Finally Finally got here at 10pm last night; Connie finally made it here about 12;30am...needless to say we did not get to bed until about 1:30am but we slept late this morning!....except me...who is a morning person and whose body is on Eastern time...up at 6am (5am Central Time) but I stayed in the bed until 7am.
Diane took us to Cedarburg for lunch at the Creperie Restuarant. So good..then we walked in the little town, visiting shop and enjoying the old buildings. A short drive to a the last covered bridge built in Wisconsin where I took this photo of Cedar Creek with Diane and Connie in sight.
Then we drove to Lions Den Nature Preserve for another walk...saw some birds and great views of Lake MIchigan. After we went to Port Washington for a quick look at the port and an old lighthouse that is not longer used. We did not walk out to the lighthouse as by this time we were really feeling the late night and the walking.
A couple extras of some of the things we saw today.
Tomorrow is the Polish Fest!
Pizza for supper and now it is bedtime!
