Clouds or fog

We had some rain this morning so hung out at the house until about 1 pm when decided to go to the Great Smoky National park to see if we could see some elk. We did and since it was partly sunny we decided to get a walk in at Clingmans Dome. The highest point in the Smokies.

We drove up the hill and saw some clouds but it wasn’t until we went around the bend as we approached the visitor center that we were socked in clouds or fog. We could see nothing! So much for the views!

Maybe another day when the sky is solid blue and no clouds.

Heading back home tomorrow!
