Tomatoes

It's now hot-hot-hot so the remaining tomato plants are going in. 

Because it's been so dry for weeks, filling a hole with water before planting is a good idea. The problem with clay though is that the hole can take up to half an hour to drain so it doesn't make for quick planting!

I suppose this goes to show how good clay soils are at holding moisture.
