472 day of war

This week has been truly dreadful. The destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station (HES) is a massive ecological and social catastrophe, and I want to provide a more detailed account of what has been happening since day one.
On the morning of Tuesday, June 6th, it became known that the Kakhovka HES had been blown up. Videos from the scene, showing the explosion, started to emerge. The mining of the HES and the threat of detonation had been known since last year, but it seems that the situation for the Russians is reaching a critical point, leading them to carry out such a large-scale act of terrorism. I have seen various "versions" claiming that the destruction was a result of past damage or that it collapsed on its own, but these are just more lies from the Russians. There is hardly any point in refuting this information because over time, there will be more evidence proving that it was indeed the Russians who did it, and we already know that without any doubts.
Perhaps the occupiers intended to partially destroy the HES to try to intimidate the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), but miscalculating the amount of explosives used led to the devastating outcome that we all witnessed.
Due to the large amount of explosives, a wave was generated that struck the power station and caused the most extensive damage.
It is likely that the occupiers themselves did not expect such severe destruction. Immediately after the explosion, the enemy cut off communication - the local provider stopped working.
Around three o'clock in the morning, the Russians realized the extent of the harm they had caused and began evacuating their own personnel without warning the civilians. All the deaths are on their conscience.
When the situation spiraled out of control and it was clear that the HES could not be saved, the Russians started spreading rumors about Ukrainian divers who supposedly blew up the power station, missile strikes, and other disinformation.
The Russians understand and know who is truly responsible for the destruction of the HES. They have no regard for innocent residents. We are waiting for satellite images that can prove their deliberate destruction of the HES.

As of now, an entire region of the country is flooded. The same region that used to supply the country with vegetables, fruits, and grains is now submerged in water. Within a few hours of the explosion, the water began to flood the streets of many villages and towns, and within a day, the water rose to the level of rooftops, submerging houses completely.

The sight of drifting houses, along with a heap of furniture, trees, and garbage, appears surreal as they float towards the shores of Odessa. The evacuation from the flooded zone is taking place under constant shelling, displaying an alarming level of inhumanity. The most affected area, the occupied zone of Kherson Oblast, is not being evacuated at all. The occupiers have abandoned the people, leaving them to their own devices, a deliberate choice on their part.

The reaction from the UN and the International Red Cross to this tragedy is highly disappointing, raising questions about the effectiveness of these organizations. However, I am confident that we will overcome this. Humanitarian aid, water, and necessary items are being sent from all over the country, and people are gathering and donating essential goods that volunteers transport to the Kherson region. Additional refugee centers are being set up in cities to accommodate and assist those affected by this catastrophe.

These are truly tense days filled with a tremendous amount of work.
How can one initiate an aggressive war in another country and, when logically faced with resistance, proceed to destroy everything, including people and their lives? Do they even realize what they are perpetrating? All the animals in zoos, countless people, animals, and livestock—all underwater! The lands that provided income and fed hundreds of thousands of people—now submerged! What is the purpose of all this?

I am deeply saddened by what is happening. I could never have imagined that people were capable of such actions. I could never have anticipated that the Putin regime would engage in atrocities comparable to those committed by Hitler. Yet, this is happening right now, and we are all compelled to fight for our lives and put an end to this temporary misunderstanding called Russia.

To find some respite, we decided that every Sunday, Nastya and I would go cycling somewhere around the city. Last year, it was unclear how things would unfold, and we spent most of the summer in great stress, barely going anywhere. There were also significant raids in the city. For now, everything is calm in that regard, so we try to experience positive emotions despite the circumstances. Additionally, we can promote our T-shirts and socks in person :)

In terms of work and orders, it is currently quite challenging because everyone is involved in the aftermath of the disaster, and people are not focused on placing orders. We are doing what we can and assisting volunteers in collecting water and providing humanitarian aid to the affected regions.

I hope that justice will prevail, and every criminal will be held accountable for their crimes against humanity. But for now, we all need to stay strong and save those we can. The sense of unity in the country is at an all-time high, and that is a positive aspect because together, we can overcome anything.

Вітаю, друзі!

Цей тиждень видався дійсно жахливим. Руйнування каховської ГЕС це дійсно величезна екологічна та соціальна катастрофа та я хочу більш детально розповісти про те що відбувалось з першого дня.
Вранці вівторка, 6 червня, стало відомо що каховську гес було підірвано, вже з'явилися відео з місця подій де було видно вибух. Про мінування ГЕС та погрози підриву було відомо ще у минулому році, але мабуть ситуація для росіян наближається до критичної раз вони пішли на такий масштабний теракт. Я бачив різні "версії" що начебто руйнування це результат минулих пошкоджень, або вона сама по собі зруйнувалась, але це чергова брехня від росіян і особливо не бачу сенсу спростовувати цю інформацію, адже з часом буде все більше доказів що це зробили саме росіяни, ну а нам це відомо вже зараз і ніяких сумнівів у цьому немає.
Можливо, окупанти хотіли часткового руйнування ГЕС, щоб спробувати налякати ЗСУ, але, не розрахувавши кількості вибухівки, результат усі побачили.
Через велику кількість вибухівки підійнялася хвиля, яка вдарила по електростанції і саме вона спричинила наймасштабніші руйнування.
Ймовірно, окупанти самі не очікували таких наслідів руйнувань. Одразу після вибуху ворог вимкнув зв'язок - місцевий провайдер перестав працювати.
Близько третьої години ночі росіяни зрозуміли, що накоїли і почали евакуювати своїх, не попередивши цивільних. Усі смерті на їх совісті.
Коли ситуація вийшла з-під контролю і було зрозуміло, що ГЕС вже не врятувати, росіяни почали поширювати чутки про водолазів ЗСУ, які підірвали електростанції, про прильот ракети та іншу дезінформацію.
Росіяни розуміють і знають, хто насправді винен в руйнуванні ГЕС. Їм не шкода мирних мешканців. Чекаємо на знімки супутників, які можуть довести провину у свідомому знищенні ГЕС.

Станов на зараз затоплений цілий регіон країни. Той самий регіон, яких забеспечував країну овочами, фруктами та злаковими - усе опинилось під водою. За декілька годин після вибуху вона почала затоплювати вулиці багатьох сіл та містечок, а за день вода піднялась настільки що будинки були затоплені на рівні даху.
Досить сюрреалістично виглядають дрейфуючи будинки, які припливають до берегів Одеси зараз.. А також купа меблів, дерев та сміття.
Евакуація з зони затоплення відбувається під постійними обстрілами, рівень нелюдства просто вражає. З найбільш постраждалої окупованої зони Херсонщини евакуації не відбувається взагалі, окупанти кинули людей напризволяще і це їх свідомий вибір.
Реакція від ООН та міжнародного червоного хреста на цю трагедію сильно оборює та змушує думати про нікчемність цих організацій.
Але ми впораємось, я впевненний, та все відбудуємо. Зараз з усієї країни відправляють гуманітарні грузи, воду, та всі люди збирають та передають необхідні речі які волонтери відвозять у Херсонську область. Також по містам розгортають додаткові місця для біженців та приймають тих хто постраждав від цієї катастрофи.
Дійсно напружені дні з великою кількістю роботи та питанням яке не виходить з голови - "що ви наробили??"
як можна прийти у іншу країну загарбницькою війною і коли тобі логічно дають відпір - починати руйнувати все що є, знищувати людей та наше життя? вони хоч розуміють що вони коять? всі тварини у зоопарках, купа людей, тварин, скота - під водою! Землі які приносили дохід та годували сотні тисяч людей - під водою! заради чого все це?
я дуже засмучений через те що відбувається, ніколи не міг подумати що люди здатні на таке, ніколи не міг подумати що путінський режим буде влаштовувати перегони з Гітлеровським по рівню жорстокості. Але це відбувається прямо зараз і ми всі вимушені боротися за життя та зупинити це тимчасове непорозуміння під назвою росія.

Щоб якось відпочивати ми вирішили кожну неділю разом з Настею їздити на велосипеді кудись навколо міста. У минулому році було ще незрозуміло як бути і майже все літо мии провели у великому стрессі і майже нікуди не ходили, а також були досить сильні рпейди по місту. Поки все спокійно у цьому плані, тому намагаємось отримувати гарні емоції не зважаючи на навколишні обставини. А також можна вживу рекламувати свої футболки та шкарпетки :)
У плані роботи та замовлень зараз досить важко, бо зараз усі приймають участь у ліквідації наслідків катастрофи і людям не до замовлень. Ми намагаємось також робити що можемо, та допомогаємо волонтерами у зборі води та гуманітарної допомоги для постраждалих регіонів.

Я сподіваюсь що справедливість обов'язково настане та кожен злочинець понесе відповідальність за скоєні злочини про людяності, але поки що ми усі повинні триматися та рятувати тих кого можемо. Відчуття єдності у країні зараз на дуже високому рівні і це гарно, бо разом ми зможемо все.

Хоч останні події дуже трагічні та емоційні, я вірю що ми зможемо це прережити та все відновити. Ворог програє і він чудово це знає, тому і робить такі жахливі речі. Але нас цим вже не залякати, ми вистояли на початку, вистоємо і зараз.
