Appleby Horse fair

After the mayhem of yesterday, we wandered upstream until we found a  tranquil spot where a more leisurely approach to horse washing was underway. Plenty of room for a quiet chat with fellow travellers in the middle of the stream and no danger of the washing up liquid getting dislodged from the grey's hindquarters.
