New Kid on the Patio

Today I assembled our new Adirondack chair and ottoman. It is made from Western Red Cedar and comes from Canada via Wales. The one on the right is our old one bought from the same company back in August 2012. It has stayed outside, uncovered without any treatment ever since. 

The design has changed very little over the past 21 years, the odd cm here or there. The quality has remained the same. I went with the headrest this time and received a second half price for the old chair. 

I feel we are summer ready now... ;o)
