View from the church

We were surprised this morning when our son in law announced that he had 7 hours of unbroken sleep. Apparently Leo had slept right through.

We took our older grandson off to his childminders this morning and then set off to Devizes. It was very sunny when we arrived and we enjoyed wandering around the medieval market town. There is a lot to see with many historic buildings, a canal and lots of independent shops. This shows the view from the Norman church of St John that was built at the time of the castle. We had an enjoyable lunch in a local cafe.

We returned to collect our grandson late afternoon. An enjoyable day and our Wedding anniversary to.
