Peaches and cream

The flower buds on this rhododendron are a deep peachy colour, to be seen in the background, fading to cream, and it brightens up a dark corner in our garden. The insects clearly love it to judge by the hum of activity.

The real joy of this plant is that it gives us a second flush of colours in the autumn.
