Heron family

This afternoon we went for a gentle walk at Long Branch Farm and trails. It was a hot sunny afternoon. After visiting the herons, where the young, with their punk hair styles (!), are now almost as big as their parents, and were very noisy, we went walking through some of the meadow areas, hoping to see some butterflies, but we didn’t see anything special, so it’s the heron family that serves as my blip today. A healthy dinner this evening of grilled salmon, accompanied by asparagus and steamed broccoli, enjoyed out on the patio.
