Happy birthday to our son, love you, boy!
So glad my sister and her husband have taken him and his fiancée out for a special meal today. Basically to make up for not being able to come for their wedding, but makes his birthday special, too.
Walking back from church and the Adega Velha, copied my sister's clever photo from a fortnight ago, except I aimed more to the left and got this abandoned farm, with a storks' nest on the typical Mouranense chimney - can you see the two storks?
And in pretty much of a repeat from that day, we are soon off to collect Gunilla and Bengt for Sem Fim, except with more people this time.
Gratefuls:
- Paul, the baby almost born in a swimming pool in Natal, Brazil, and the easiest baby ever, always with a heart for the outcast and the marginalised, and turning into one of the best preachers I know. Proud Mum.
- everything back to normal after the event yesterday, even the tablecloths washed, dried on the line, folded and put away
- Padre Abraão's homily on Jesus' predilection for hobnobbing with the sinners, who others looked down on
