A Break in the Weather

It took until after 8:00 pm but the humid weather of the afternoon finally broke, and with some force.  There's always that unmistakeable smell when the storm rain arrives after a hot and humid day.  The initial intensity of the rain has now slackened, but it still looks like we will have more rain over the coming hours.
