We packed up today and moved, closer to home, to Cambridgeshire at Grafham Water.

Annie Campervan is tiny so we have no choice but to put the awning up and it was HOT. It reached 30° as I pegged it down into the hard ground. Jak was panting hard, it was horrible. Once the essentials were done, I grabbed my chair, my book, some water and the dog and retreated to the shade of a big tree. It was bliss. Jak rolled around on the cool grass and I read.

Tomorrow could be more of the same so I think we won’t be going far, just relaxing.
