Common Blue on the Edge

We walked to Rocky Valley today. A stunning valley with fast flowing streams and waterfalls between the cliffs, only a quarter of a mile from the site. It seemed an easy one today, boy how wrong were we. This was more like mountaineering than walking, to us at least. I'm sure the elderly couple whizzing past us at high speed were former olympians.

Worth the trip, but now worn out. The steep slopes were also host to lots of lovely insects too.
