Blue and yellow

There's something very clashy about yellow flowers against a blue sky that appeals to me. It's like a kid's drawing of the world somehow - very unsubtle.

Lovely sunny day today, and a good friend who is currently between countries (Canada and Senegal on this occasion) dropped in for the night unexpectedly. Lovely to see her, especially as she's moving to Australia later in the summer so we really won't see her for ages. With the benefit of backblipping I can report that a late, gossipy night was had by all.
