Drowsy

I'd like to pretend that this was the result of stealth, patience and perseverance, but in reality this humble hoverfly was a sitting target – no doubt rendered a bit tired and drowsy by the increasingly hot and humid conditions here in Cambridge. He (she/it/they) was just sitting there on the rim of a stoneware pot minding its own business and clearly not bothered about a giant lens encroaching! I can't complain about the weather though; I just had a video call with a friend in Delhi who reported that the temperature there was 44 degrees. Blimey.
