Water

In my day job I've recently been writing a series of pieces for Cambridge University Press about scientists who are looking at the 'big issues' facing the planet: extinction, the plastics crisis, coastlines – and, today, water security. I find them inspirational and depressing in equal measures!

Of course, having filed the article, I went and sprayed the garden lavishly with a hose :(
