Spot the birdie.

Mrs Blackbird was very busy this morning.
I spotted her flying past the kitchen window every few minutes with a huge mouthful of nesting material.Most found in our borders. She is doing a great job tidying up! ( also see extra)
She is building in the golden privet bush at the side of the kitchen window.
No problem there except it is by our new table and chairs, so this afternoon she has kept away while we have been sat out.

It has been a VERY hot day. Up to 31C !
We drove over to Embsay, near Skipton to visit MrC’s brother and wife who moved into their new house last last week.
They are hoping the site will be finished in 12 months and then it will be a bit quieter.

The sky is now clouding over. Wonder if we are going to have a thunderstorm? May clear the air as it is very hot and sticky at the moment.
