BIG BROTHER NO 1
In the garden meditating by 5.30 this morning. I love the peace at that time - just me and the birds. Phone calls, dentist, paper work - the morning shot by and I was teaching in the afternoon, so it was 4.30 by the time I got back out to the garden, by which time I think I deserved my wee nap under the cherry tree. I was soon beaten indoors by the heat. Later I planted out courgettes, rocket, kale and savoy. If there is a frost while we are away the week after next we are DOOMED.
Didn't feel blip inspired - sometimes at this time of year I am is surrounded by so much obvious beauty it defeats me. So here is one more from the digitisation of the archive. This task proceeds slowly as it is so tedious. This is me and my oldest brother circa 1995. Iain would have been 75 today, but he died of cancer in 2007. I still miss him so much. However, Big Brother no 3 is very much still around, so I called him and we swopped smutty limericks. You are surprised I can be smutty, aren't you?
