Whirlpool!

This morning we decided not to go on the "forced march" starting at 7:30 a.m. to the gardens at Colonsay in the Inner Hebrides.  The only way to reach them would have been via a Zodiac ride to shore and then a 3-mile hike to the gardens and a 3-mile hike back -- all to be accomplished before the ship was scheduled to depart at 11:00 a.m.!

This afternoon, we sailed through the Gulf of Corryvreckan on our way to visit Arduane.  Billed as the world's third largest whirlpool, we were excited to witness this wonder firsthand ... however, at the time we sailed past it was neap tide, so there really was not much to see.  Never mind -- I did manage to snap a photo of the ship's own whirlpool (a.k.a  Jacuzzi on the pool deck!), and after a little faffing -- Voila!
