Female House Sparrow ( Passer domesticus )

A day of jobs around home mainly indoors to escape the heat.

For my 30 days wild I took a few "through the window" shots of birds at the feeders.  I haven't done any feeder shots for a while.  Many had reflections from the window so I settled on this female Sparrow.

Sparrows aren't my favourite bird at the moment.  We have three House Martins nestboxes.  I put the third up this year because the other two had been occupied last year.  The blank blank Sparrows have taken up residence in it preventing expansion of our little colony.
