Jillian and Granddad

Jillian agreed to meet us for breakfast at 8:00 am. She’d only had four hour’s sleep so we were appreciative she’d get up early to join us. This way we got to visit with everyone before heading back to Maryland. We chatted about her school expenses and what info she’ll need to give hubby so he can send a check. It’s a pleasure to help her because she is working so hard to pay for her car and insurance. We were on the road by 9:15. Our first stop was at Yoder’s Country Market. We grabbed a half a cake for dessert while camping since I will not have time to bake something. There were patches of the orange milkweed by the property and the nearest one had a bonus bee. Everything ran smoothly until we stopped for a late lunch. A couple came in after us and you could tell immediately they were trouble makers. They complained loudly about every part of their meal using language that made me very nervous. The manager came out twice and thankfully he was a very large man. He finally got them to leave. I think that may be their way of eating their meal for free. We were disgusted by their behavior. We are on the road again with a little over three hours remaining in our trip plus a stop for gasoline. I am sharing some sights along the trip. The second cell from the left is kudzu, a large leaf vine that takes over many southern areas in the summer. You can Google it. We ran into one long stretch of road construction and had periods of light and heavy traffic. The church was in a small town we pass through before heading back up through the Appalachian mountains. The sights are simply fantastic on our route. Thanks for enjoying it with us. Hope you found some beauty in your day. Be safe. “Granddaughter, through you I see the future. Through me, you’ll see the past. In the present, we’ll love one another as long as these moments last.” — everydaypower.com
