Horse Chestnut

This horse chestnut flower reminded me of an ice cream sundae - such pretty flowers .
Once again a boiling hot day with temperatures up to 30 degrees Celcius - far too hot for us . 
We took P’s Mum into Sherborne for a coffee then returned later to take gardening cuttings to the tip for her and to do some shopping. 
I tried to cheer my friend up who is holidaying alone in Torquay and has gone down with a bug . It’s not much fun on your own and I feel for her.
