Hot

Rediculous perhaps but I am not a fan of hot hot.. at least there has been a little air movement today and less humidity but I have been thankful for being able to just sit and read (had to finish bookclub book before tomorrow) and do a little painting and string making. 
The garden is looking wonderful after the rain and everything has perked up no end which is lovely.  These daisies have certainly perked up but some are looking a little worn out now.. 
Little Jasper has headed back to the boat and all the peppers have gone too.. phew what a relief.. we only lost 3 in the end.. the rest are looking fantastic along with the tomatoes so the house now feels a little empty of things to care for!  Guess I will have to lavish all those moments on the two of us instead!!!
